The Amazing Brentwood is a landmark 28-acre mixed-use redevelopment in Burnaby, BC, transforming the former Brentwood Mall parcel into a vibrant urban destination.
Developed by SHAPE Properties, the first phase of the project comprises three residential towers rising above a new retail podium, built while the existing mall remained operational.
Two of the towers, designed as twin residential high-rises, reach 55 storeys and over 600 feet in height, making them the tallest residential buildings in Burnaby. Together, these towers deliver more than 1,150 units, including 300 purpose-built rental homes, along with 15,000 sq. ft. of private amenities such as outdoor lounges, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, a business centre, music room, indoor lounge and kitchen, guest suites, and multipurpose rooms.

Construction required innovative solutions to address unique challenges, including building above an active retail centre and adjacent to a SkyTrain station. The Amazing Brentwood continues to evolve through future phases, cementing its role as one of Metro Vancouver’s most significant urban redevelopment projects.
